The Leopard And The Moon

Inspired by the failed marriage of a close friend.

And his honest love for her

was a Leopard's rush for the moon.

He was at heights and looking strong,

but who would know the weakness hidden inside?

It was epic and still it is,

for every audience who cares a bit.

The Leopard had finished puberty,

wrestled with some domestic stocks,

and showed off its vast liberty.

When found himself spoiled with power,

he could no longer be satisfied,

to chase a deer among flowers.

The Leopard looked above to see,

the most unreachable thing he ever saw,

so he waited for the full moon to come,

and jumped to grab the shiny disk,

although his move seemed heroic,

it was his life that he put at risk.
