Again, We Are Silent

Again, We Are Silent

A Poem by Against All Authority
"

......

"
Idle with a flood of thoughts,
words crawling up my throat.
A tedious journey it is
crawling along slowly.

Reaching jagged-edged teeth
they are taken aback.
Assured they were not prisoners
they give a friendly knock.

Awaiting, no response was given,
they knock again in vain.
Panic now began to spread,
slamming, throwing themselves against the teeth.

Alas! a response is awoken,
a serpent from under their feet,
rising up tall, paralysis engulfs,
one broad sweep and they are hanging,

Hanging but with little courage,
for under, the abyss awaits.
At last, a river of slim suddenly
takes them down to their fate.

again, they are silent.
