Even and odd, like head and tail,
Idle but alive, says the man's tale. He was born with a baleful other, The antagonist that was his brother. In dark it would always hiss, Damned thing it was, with its cursed kiss. Tantrums it would drape like a curtain, Stain upon the nape with crying pain. The career the poor man had had been wrecked, The face of demon killing his trek. And finally an act gave a dark conclusion: His skull was killed by a small token, Pierced between the twin's eyes that were sullen.
