No Such True Love

No Such True Love

A Poem by Noor
"

A poem about no true love existing...

"
Its midnight the stars in the sky are shining bright,
but then there is you who is the light.

You are the light of my life,
imagining you with someone else is when my heart gets stabbed with a knife.

Tears are falling down from my cheeks,
that’s the sign of what my heart seeks.

Seeks for never ending love,
there is no such true love.

Sometimes the light of yours turns into darkness,
realizing that with time comes coldness.

Love in the human sense does not exist, I agree. I would live solo than be the object of someone and their fickle affections. Human affection is fickle and fleeting. It is silly to pursue it.
