Surprise me, love.

Surprise me, love.

A Poem by Chaos Complex
"

Ugh. I hate feeling this way. I wish something good would happen.

"
A thousand nightmares,
Tear drops and sharp gasps.
A desperate cry for help-
But you're convinced it's all an act.

Swallow it down,
Till my insides get sick and start to bubble.
I'm cracking under pressure,
Is it safe to say, "Here come's trouble"?

And I lay in my loneliness,
The blood stains, new and old.
I want nothing more than to live-
But can't help to do what I'm told.

Fake the nicest face,
Pretend that I can't hear-
This is how we go on now-a-days,
Building tally marks of angst in years.

So where can you go for faith,
When everyone abandons you?
I could use a prayer-
Or any other medium of rescue.

Break these walls,
The one's that I was forced to construct.
Let me know that-
I can still be awestruck.

About
I like to express my emotions and feelings in poetry. I write a lot of rap/hip hop stuff. I'm really vulgar. Deal with it. I don't get many reviews, but thank you to those who even bother to re.. more..
