The Portrayal of a Strong Woman

The Portrayal of a Strong Woman

A Poem by Jaja Reigns

I wonder what's on her mind?
She looks at me as if she's blind
Didn't notice anyone's existence
Unless she needs you at her side.

She held her head high
Stood up proud whenever around
Intimidating indeed,
But she has a kind heart

She was sad, yet she smiled
She was admired by many; hated by few
A bit of an attitude,
but a woman with substance, for sure.

She went through a lot
Yet survived and pretended to be strong
When no one's looking, she breaks down
She keeps doubting herself and questioning her worth

Hypocrite, is she?
But that's what made her strong.
She was able to pull herself together,
Acting like a lion in this wilderness of life.
