You Don't Have To See A Cow To Know Exactly How One Smells

You Don't Have To See A Cow To Know Exactly How One Smells

Written by a Kansan Girl

"
It snows in April
And it rains in December
Twisters causing blisters
For volunteers in early May
The air smells like "money"
There's no water in the river
People come from all over
And never get out again
Everyone knows everyone
Teen pregnancy is so likely
You have to make sure
You're not related to your date
If you're not stupid, you're a genius
You have an accent you can't hear
No matter how much pride you have,
nobody can wait
To find the emergency escape route
Out of Kansas,
"The Sunflower State"
