To and Fro

I made this poem on night when I was simply reflecting on the passing of people that were close to me. I had finally reached a moment where I was able to embrace what happened.

As Life Pulls Us
To and fro',
We learn the art
Of letting go.
Death paints life
In beautiful ways,
Showing us to never,
Count our days.
Dreamers of what
Could never be,
We must embrace
Our past and history.
Our gift comes in
blood and tears,
Within our humanity, 

Our hopes and fears.
Hold on to love,
Cherish it so, 
Until our last goodbye,
We'll never know.
