Dreamer

I just wrote this when I was in deep thought, contemplating the next step forward that I should take with my life.

A wanderer of daydreams
Falling in love with the stars,
Sewing hopes together
With the silver linings
Of black clouds that
Seemingly hover.
A dreamer lives with
their head in the clouds
Bound by a tether of reality,
Trying to carve initials
into memories,
Drinking from a glass
half full.
