Alas My Love

Alas My Love

A Poem by Blue
"

Lost love

"

Alas my love

We must say goodbye

It is no wonder why

You are free

Like a butterfly

Your spirit cannot be broken

It will never die

Perhaps I will see you again

In some other place

In some other time

When life is easier

When chains do not bind

Your sweet spirit

I loved to watch

You running in the park

Your Auburn hair

Blowing in the wind

The glorious smile

I saw every morning

Was far more than heart warming

We shall meet again perhaps

Some glorious day

When life is better

And I am not in your way
