Deep sleep

Deep sleep

A Poem by Jean Carlos
"

A poem on how we sometimes tend to follow the same path each day and cannot spur up courage to change our days. Nothing will be gained without the first act.

"

As my eyes close I enter that world.

Falling into a deep sleep ,where I find an image of you, and my heart starts too beat.

When the climax has been reached I open my eyes.

Soon comes dealing with what is real and what is fake.

I begin preparing for what is coming this day.

Dragging my feet along this repetitive path.

As my body gets heavier and decides to rest.

I fall and lie down to enter that place again.

Author's Note

Jean Carlos
It's how I sometimes personally feel on how I fail to act but am accustomed to running away from change.
