Cupid's Victim

Cupid's Victim

A Poem by Omikron

Kissed by a feather
Touched by the wind
Without my knowledge
My soul was skinned
My heart was pinned
Hung on your wall
A beauty enslaved
I became your doll
No floor to crawl
A slave to the heart
I wish I'd been killed
By cupid's dart
Displayed like art
A body enframed
Nothing left but a mind
That can never be tamed
