Without Warmth

Without Warmth

A Poem by Dream Weaver

Previous Version
This is a previous version of Without Warmth.

He stands alone silently swallowing empty

affairs of the heart. Women mocked him severely

stealing bits and pieces of his enduring trust.

For all he had to offer was a pure genuine love.

Such an unconditional love, tossed out into the wind

of misfortune untouched by a women’s desire.

Still his hopes desires and dreams, avoiding his

fears that he shall remain cold and without warmth.

His appearance he knows is hard and worn but his

compassionate soul is that of beauty and conviction.

His vacant home is barely big enough to contain

all the tears he will shed, unlucky and misplaced

in a life of solitude and the unknown…

a moving piece~ how unfortunate for us all as beings when honest love is displaced for the rough men with curled fists and twists of bitter fate~

without warmth i feel this guy will diminish in the cold....cold i mean lonely ...lonely cuz i feel this guy is like afraid to love so he thinks about it often and chooses to be alone in solitude in the unknown abyss ....he wont trust enough to be hurt rather assume it will end and not bother....sorry for the babble but i enjoyed myself in these words partly cuz i used to be the same way...
