THIS POEM WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

And isn't this the hope of all poets?

it will search for that one flaw yet when it is found
will proceed to love it
and will lift the veil of silence to kiss the
bride of solitude

this poem will make a difference because
it will provide the answers to all unasked questions
and question the answers to those that were asked

this poem will do all things that need doing
but question if the doing of a thing...
really needs to be done

in the breaking of vows, it will close an eye
to error and in the mending of seams
it will furnish newly spun thread

this poem will make a difference...
the reading of its words will change you
the hearing of its words will redeem you
the feeling of its words will free you to believe...

this poem will make a difference!
