WITH EVERY BREATH I TAKE

WITH EVERY BREATH I TAKE

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

A wintery nature write.

"

The songs of nature bathe the air

With windy snow-filled days.

The sound of leaves now silent lie

Beneath a frozen haze.

The eagles wing spans azure skies

In whispered echoes sweet,

And furry creatures scurry 'bout

To find some food to eat.

Old winter hides her secrets 'neath

The diamond spangled hills,

And sends a shiver up the spine

Of those who stand too still.

Yet in the cold and buried hush

Of morning by the lake,

I feel this moment's meant to be...

With every breath I take!

~~
