EACH POSTULATION OF THE NIGHT

EACH POSTULATION OF THE NIGHT

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

Sadness at being separated from ones love.

"

How intricate the premise lies
Beneath a winters moon.
'Tis evident without his smile...
A death knoll beckons soon.

No riddle splayed to twist the turn
Of logical domain...
The axiom accepted now
Comes quickly for to blame.

The mys'try here evades each thought
Of resolutions' fame,
With unexpected fortitide
It plays the lovers' game.

Each postulation of the night
Involves the call....''beware.''
With fervent pleas from hearth and home
I humbly kneel in prayer.

I liked the poem.
"Each postulation of the night

With fervent pleas from hearth and home

The words gentle and brought thoughts of something missed. I like the ending. Prayer. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

this certainly achieves its purpose...we feel the heat of the love and the coldness of the separation.
