WITH LAUGHTER FOR A SAIL

WITH LAUGHTER FOR A SAIL

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

A love poem of sorts.....

"

I am a purple lilac heart
Which rides the winds of spring...
I want to be an open hand
To give the song its sing

I am a ewe in misty morn
In search of mother's milk...
I want to be the hope of night
In fine transparent silk

I am an aspen in the fall
Adorned in golden bands...
I want to be a winter storm
With strength to hold your hand

I am the mountain's lumpy ridge
That spans the crevice shale...
I want to be your dream of love
With laughter for a sail

that is the best propeller...laughter.

wonderfully rhythmic poem with a very well done rhyme scheme...

i find more rhyme poems to like on this site than i ever expect to...not being a fan of it...but you made it smooth and natural...
