TERMINAL

TERMINAL

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

Sting of death....

"

TERMINAL

One lone tear begins its journey,
Joined by others where they fall.
Loss and grief cannot be conquered,
Life departs with death for all.

Final words remembered ever,
Like a fleeting lovers' cry.
Terminal...the drawn black curtain.
Evermore....the sad goodbye.
~~

''Eternally loving and missing you my son.''

ahh ! but just think of the happy reunion you will have when it`s your time to go
it will be like the old days when the church would have that one big dinner
and every body would attend,,what a beautiful time, and it will last forever...

Thank you so much Cassie for your compassion and your review! ~Sharon
No words can express the heart ache felt when a loved one is lost. The grief sometimes makes the memories too much to imagine.
Know this... a certain amount of a person's soul is left behind and is kept in the hearts of loved ones. Life is a cycle in all things. As they wait in a far better place, when the time comes and the cycle closes to its own end, You will join again.

Your compassionate review is very much appreciated Jacob. ~Sharon
I am glad that I decided to visit your page to reciprocate your visit to mine, as I have found a piece which resonates with me. While I cannot begin to imagine the pain of losing a child, four months ago I lost someone very dear to me whom I had known for over 40 years. The grief in your piece is palpable. It never goes away, I believe. We must just find a way to go on without them somehow, and acknowledge that a piece of our hearts died with them. Hugs and prayers to you, my friend.
