JUST ME 'AN MY DOG HUMPHREY!

His legs are short, his ears are long
And to my life he brings a song
We've hiked these mountains, hills and plains
Through snow and mud and even rain....

Though short on height and missing tail
My love for him will 'oft prevail
When times are hard and tears befall
His kisses are the best of all...

He's had his battles...fought his pain
Known the ways of ill's domain
Yet never whimpered in the night
He kept on dreaming through his fight

He's growing older and I know
The time will come to let him go
But until then my days will be...
Just me 'an my dog Humphrey!

There's nothing like a perky dog to boost your spirits, Size is unimportant, they still help to keep us mobile .
