NO PLACE TO GO

NO PLACE TO GO

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

If only it were not so.....

"
NO PLACE TO GO

Seeking some comfort
While living in pain
Needing the blessing
While standing in rain

Seeing the darkness
Though bathed in the light
Begging for stillness...
Engaged in the fight

Stagnant in stupor
Which calls me by name
Losing redemption
With no one to blame

Summoned by mem'ry
By wishing it so
Dressed in gold fine'ry
With no place to go
~~~
I'm sure many of us have been "all dressed up with no place to go" - or at least felt that way at some time. An expressive poem - kind of sad and wistful, but life deals us such a hand sometimes.
