WITHOUT A SAD GOODBYE

WITHOUT A SAD GOODBYE

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

It's almost like the day before....

"

WITHOUT A SAD GOODBYE

It's almost like the day before
The one that cast the die
That opened every empty vault
And made a grown man cry

It's almost like the night that stayed
And blocked the warmth of sun
When streets were bare portraying there
Those things we'd oft times shunned

It's almost like the wretched tears
That mortals fear to cry
Lest every darkness bled for earth
Redeemed the right to die

It's almost like the week that mourned
And held its pain within
Afraid to weep lest all be lost
Without a hope to end

It's almost like the day you left
Without a sad goodbye
But if you could...I know you would
For you were born to fly

"Afraid to weep lest all be lost Without a hope to end" Thats the line for me. Sometimes our pain is so overwhelming its frightening to let it out. The tidal wave feels like it will never stop crashing once it starts. I feel the sadness in your words. Thanks for sharing.
