WRITTEN FACTS

I sit me down to contemplate

These words that shall incorporate

The images in mind.

At times the words will dance about

As if to hear me fume and shout...

"Get back here! P l e a s e be kind!"

 

It seems those words just want to play

And won't comply or even stay

Within my train of thought.

Just when I think I've trained them well

They act as though they're in a spell...

Submission can't be bought.

 

It's best to let them have their way.

I've learned a thing or two today

About the way they act.

If I am patient with my think

I think they'll dive into the ink...

Becoming written facts!
