HOW CAN WE NOT BELIEVE?

With so many signs, how can we not believe?

HOW CAN WE NOT BELIEVE?

With majesty of canyon walls
And oceans  wide and deep,
The rivers splayed with waterfalls
That lull the birds to sleep...

HOW CAN WE NOT BELIEVE?

The million types of trees and flowers
And animals that creep,
The mountains reaching 'tward the sky
With snow from peak to peak...

HOW CAN WE NOT BELIEVE?

The miracle of birth displayed
In smallest newborn babe,
That image of divinity
In manger softly laid...

HOW CAN WE NOT BELIEVE?

How can we not believe in One
Who gave His life for man?
How can we not accept His love
By living out His plan?

You have created a beautiful imagery through nature in this poem. I liked the last stanza very much. This poem gives the expression that everything is in front of us but we are blind to accept it it shows a lot about the human nature. I loved the concept. Very well written.

Exactly, there are signs of this universe which point to the greatnessv of God. many people just ignore it and live for sheer pleasure.
