A simple poem of love.

FOREVER ENTWINED

with words you have gained my attention

With your eyes you have captured my soul

With a song you're my reason for being

With love you have made my life whole

By design of the gods I'm held captive

To calls of your voice on the wind

Whenever you're near I am speechless

And helpless my love to rescind

Forever entwined by your myst'ry

And softly embraced by your charms

My life has been changed...and I'm grateful

The world cannot do to me harm

i like your comment "A simple poem of love" .. and it is just that .. reading renews my belief in it .. it's so easy .. but so complex as it grows .. what i especially like is how your poem creates this cradle of strength, assurance and warmth and then your protagonist simply lays back into it .. this paints an enviable relationship says i .. very comforting and inspiring to read .. flow and rhymes so natural i hardly notice and reach the last verse too soon :)
