A NEVER ENDING FRIENDSHIP

I have a little Corgi,

His name is Tucker babe.

He's just the cutest fur ball,

That angels ever made.

He thinks he rules the family,

And I think he does too...

But that's ok 'cause it's a thing

That Corgis like to do.

He sleeps beside my bedside,

And snores a little bit.

When I'm awake and on the porch,

He's by my side to sit.

I know that I'm so lucky

To have him as my friend,

And hope perhaps our closeness

Will never EVER end!

Good morning from the UK, Sharon! Have had to go back a while to find one of your poems I've not reviewed. Found this and now am feeling like a sunbeam! What a wonderfully fond and witty set of finely metered words, what warmth about your beloved Tucker! I have a Madame, an English setter, who is thought of in similar words (except my meter is pretty bad). Good to 'see' you in the cafe, hope all's well in your usually busy world.
