A mouth in trouble!

BECOMING MUTE

It's never too late to mess things up

And fall flat on my face.

Most everywhere I look it seems

It's par for our own race.

So many opportunities

Present themselves each day...

You'd think I'd get a paycheck when

I say the things I say!

I know I try so hard to keep

My mouth shut when I should,

But words spill out like bats in flight

As though I never could!

What shall I do to be polite

And garner friends astute?

Perhaps the best that I can do

Is just become a mute!

Fabulous metaphor, yep indeed, more times than not it's those that say the least who offer up the most interesting, relevent verbal discourse, while those that bleather, perhaps it's just the sound of their own voice that intrigues them so??
