A Heart Divided

A Heart Divided

A Poem by Paul Seaman
"

channeling Abraham Lincoln

"

A heart Divided

    against itself

Can Not Stand.

the test of time…

A heart

   pure in

indivision

of purpose

Can not beat

   In synchronicity

with itself.

   or anyone else.

A mind Divided

   to goal,

swims from Shore

to Shore,

never touching

the moist pungent aromatic

sands,

 of Land.

My bell has rung

    Time to decide,

which corner

    of my heart

    to embrace,

Whom to Please

And Whom,

            to fail.
