Burning Agape Love

Burning Agape Love

A Poem by Tilian Darko

Hold the memories close to your chest.
They cherish as you hold them near you.
As your touch imprints on them, your soul burns them.
The flames see through to watch the memories one more time.
Lost and damaged.
Just like how they should end.
A broken and bright laugh comes out of the new being.
Yet twenty-two years of something unknown lingers onto my soul still.
I rip It all out no longer needing the beings that bring me to unity.
That bound broken once and for all.
Fist grasp tight.
motivation move onward.
Into the new start, I can do on my own.
