Epiphany

Love was an epiphany to me
Something I had never experienced before
Something which did not excite me
This feeling was new and unknown

What was I supposed to do, let go when
It suddenly was everything I ever wanted
All my life not knowing I needed it.
It hurt in pleasurable ways
And adored in the most astonishing times

I had to let go, leave that string of fate
Because I had to fix myself, learn to love myself
To accept my never-ending love for you
I promise I will come back to you
