Garden

Garden

A Poem by Palak

Before you stepped into my life

The flowers within me were

Dry and hung low

And the vines at some point had stopped growing

Then you came in like the sun

In my thorny garden

Soiling the dirty scars and frightening memories

With fresh and lively grass

And wild blooming flowers

Vines spreading like fire

And that pleasing fragrance

You had created from

Within me

But the world was against us

Maybe our love wasnt strong enough

Perhaps, it was just a temporary replacement

A safe place for a short time

But ,no you tattoed

Me with the most beautiful love

Making sure i leave my fragrance

With you

I go back to my shell

Enclosing, embracing and reliving the

Memories of you and i

Letting our meadow of love

Spread endlessly..
