I find it utterly spectacular that you've got this delicious snippet from when you were 16! I will be 65 on July 4th. I hated all the polished people in high school & I always gravitated to the misfits, which is what your poem reminds me of (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Hi Margie, I have a whole little folder of poetry written when I was 16! I'm planning to pull it out and share it with my 16 year old granddaughter. An interest in writing poetry is springing in her. I'll turn 65 right around Labor Day, our matching ages probably have something to do with our appreciation of each other's work. And the fact that we both enjoy misfits. :)
