Shattered

Shattered

A Poem by PandaPeaceful

I had entered the dark hole.
Tears slipping down my cheeks,
I breathed in the utter disappointment.
Like a small child whining,
I begged for complete fairness.
But the world was not fair,
It was cruel, and utterly melancholic.
So I hid in the midst of memories,
and remained lying, screaming, crying.
Until life would come and devour me.
For I was not fair to life.
I was not innocent,
Nor was I pure,
But my heart was broken.
In all colours of the world,
I was shattered.

this was beautifully written. the meaning behind it is something we can all relate to. sometimes we all feel life is a big bully ready to knock us down. however we arent always so good ourselves. but we are humans who make mistakes we learn from those and by the time we do learn life's already knocked us down
this was a powerful poem writing with well used sentences and with a aura that will an impression on most of those who read this

Thank you! These comments always brighten up my day.
I was here once.
For as long as we consider life a game; this world will NEVER play fair.
So neither do I. Claw-tooth and nail, and take what you need.
To life I say: "Rain down your tyranny in all of its terror, for your storms nourishes my weathered soul"
Keep writing!

Your words are always inspiring and hella amazing Aukai. Thank you for the review!
It is difficult to be 'fair to life' when life is not fair to you. I hope this normal young person (not innocent, not pure ... just like all of us!) gets some help from 'all colours of the world' to recover from her shattered heart and get lifted out of her dark hole.
Well written poem.

Powerful words and emotions shared. I could free the sadness in the words. We will see the world with different eyes when we are broken or heartbroken. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

You are welcome my friend.
Your words are a drama of their own... a dark, weeping tragedy. Yet, re.reading- i feel the final stanza is almost a plea combined with confession waiting for both understanding and forgiveness.

A lot going on in this poem.
Lies and truths.
Searching for answers.
But the answer was always there.
