You and Me

You and Me

A Story by PandaPeaceful

Sometimes, I feel like the entire world is wishing for my failure. I stare at the endless sky and imagine my body drifting onto a cloud of translucent thoughts. There is so much of the world we have yet to understand and yet, I feel like I have barely acknowledged any of it. My mind feels like a crackling fire, in a maze of pure winds. It feels like indestructible waves have pursued the great plains. It feels like a million stars, have fallen into a pit of utter darkness. Temptations and longings burn my skin, as I picture myself laying on a bed of roses, enwrapped by the arms of a blazing god. Flawed perfection would run in our blood like grains of salt, in a sea of boundless water. He would whisper small things into my red ear, and wish for our ceaseless future. His sparkling eyes would watch me, as I watch him. He would tell me he adores the way my body curves, and how beautifully original it was. He tells me that, without me, the world would be a scorching ball, traveling the magnificent galaxy. I laugh, and tell him that without him, there would be no world, and I would be a simple granule of nothingness.

He smiles, and I smile back. We hold each other, and feel our bare skin touching, as flames fly everywhere. The planet is spinning in complete hypnosis, and I feel his breath, hitting my blushed cheeks, as I kiss his chest softly. All problems have gone away, as their colossal wings send them to an everlasting mortality. My lips slowly meet his, when I feel him vanishing. Caressing his compassionate hair, I let my eyes slip open, as I witness his very evanescence. His frame, barely palpable, holds my fragile body, while I stare into his melting eyes.

He beams in adoration, as I float away, into the cruel reality.

How wonderful one's imagination can be.. especially when yearning - seems that desire comes like the holy trinity to make life the endless dream of true love. Your extravagant yearning is plausibly divine. ye - the ending is st what's neededin the search for reality.

You use such descriptive phrases, they fly the reader far higher than breath allow - it's flight that soars but with a sudden pause but, crash.land.. crash.land... perhaps. Your heart sings when you write, but i know logic holds the reins.. even though in a way, unkind.

Had to edit, realised i'd made typos and added unwanted words. Thank you so much for sharing. E.

A fantastic, gripping story, yet gentle like the wave of an ocean that pulls and drowns you slowly.

I loved the ending line, being awakened by reality

Thank you! I appreciate your lovely review.
Richly written, love conquers all and dissolves into infinity. Or something like that.
