Red-White Shadows

Red-White Shadows

A Poem by Paper Doll
"

More from the high school days. I think my friend asked em to take a picture from when we were camping, but i hadn't brought a camera, and that's how this one came to be,

"

The firelight glowed
bright and warm
repelling the darkness

Figures around the fire
casting shadows

The shadows
flickered
dodging the red light
while reaching
reaching towards the darkness

Smoke drifted upwards
drawing
the pale
white moonlight
down
