my star

my star

A Poem by PasDeChat

Up above so high you twinkle and shine

I stare and feel small just biding my time

Crickets chirp not knowing your there

Entranced by your beauty I sit and stare

I want to come to you, get away from it all

As you sparkle for me my problems seem small

Daylight breaks through, and hides you from sight

You are gone until another cloudless night

Beautiful, I love the imagery in this poem. I believe there is one typo though "Crickets chirp not knowing your there" your should be you're but everyone makes those mistakes but just thought I would let you know. It was a great write and a pleasure to read. Keep it up! :)

like the stars too
not much of a day person
which one is yours
I tend to look for ursa and then for the morning star (venus)

Entranced by your beauty I sit and stare
reminds me of being up in the mountains, no artificial light
and just staring up at the whole panorama
wonderful ! :)

i like this, especially the thought that makes me feel small. really cute and affective.
it makes me think that no one cares about your problems, but yourself.

Beautiful write.
"Daylight breaks through, and hides you from sight
You are gone until another cloudless night"
That line was my fave. It seems like a tragedy everytime those stars disapear.
But then you remember that when they come out. Its like seeing them for the first time.
They get more beautiful each and every night.
Great write.
