Silence

Silence

A Poem by Passingdaze

He sits alone staring into space,
the air around him seems to be unafraid.
Fall is coming and the wind brings chill.
He sits alone with so much time to kill.

The days used to embrace him,
now he feels he's fallen behind.
The breath he breathes is disenchanted,
The days to him seem unkind.

All of their words seem to fall,
just that more distance left to cover.
He wants to end the days of silence,
silently wishing to be another.
