Seeing Love

Seeing Love

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Seeing Love

In my eyes is only you,

a clarity of sight

that triumphs over all.

History has died

and is not mourned.

My vision bright,

you’ve lit the fire at my core.

I see you,

whole,

complete,

magnificent.

My very joy for living.

I offer you

the reflection of tomorrow

as I fall in grace

into your eyes

and into your soul,

to swim there as oxygen

feeding your heart

whose adoration I will nurture

and treasure for all time.

I like the references to time and the optimism around that because of your love and then the double meaning of the heart in the physical context and the emotional. Another great tribute

This is a love letter if ever I have read one...I would love to recieve something like this; hand penned on otherwise stark white paper. Such a beautiful sentiment to praise upon a pedestal the person who holds the key to your heart. Well done.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
