Underhand

Underhand

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Underhand

Red is Red

and Jack is Jack,

Frieda has no time

nor space to expand.

An Archangel reflects your guilt

as he watches your black heart.

But the truth,

without doubt,

is that you are the only one

who has sold his soul and

who dances with the devil.

I am shocked that you know this song. This is one of my favorite rap/hip hop songs. When you listen to the words it is chilling and profound. Impressive read and write....and listen. Thanks for sharing.

Ha ha, Thank you Sheema!
I seem to have missed out on some underhanded, poor-spirited, coyote yipping.... hmmm, that wasn't fair... coyotes trailing the sounds of yipping as they come up from the river and cross into the desert in the middle of the night are much maligned by my remark.. scratch it... we won't compare these stealthy slanderers to any animal except perhaps a hyena... now those are truly loathsome creatures... hope this unpleasantness has dies away by now

Thanks SW. Nice to see you back. There have been several casualties and the aggressor marches on.
Jeez. Is this stuff still going on? Well, at least it makes for good poetry ;-) I like that bit about Frieda...so damn true, bless her heart...Good one, John.

For once im first before jack and Frieda. Ha....

Seriously I joined here months after Frieda and this accuser knows damn well I'm not her. Personally this is just a new ploy....no doubt for the benefit of those who question the veracity of the "gang of five" accusation. So since that didn't work let's claim his "attackers" are one or two people using multiple accounts. You know what they say about guilty minds. They may infer their own crimes on others as a way to deny their behaviour. Sad but true....

Jealousy always leads us down dark paths and onto the dance floor of no return. Very cool John.
