Odds and Ends

Good Over Evil

And there shall be no denial

as the devil is exposed

in all his satanic hatred

to the winds of truth.

Trust

Follow me

to the end of tomorrow

for I will take you

to the edge

of the universe

and beyond.

Devotion

I will strip you,

willing,

of the dignity of clothing,

so long as I may be the one

to enter your cathedral

and worship you there.

My Lust For You

Slow may be the hand

to caress you.

Slow may be the kiss

that you desire,

but fast and furious

will be my ardour

when you set me afire.

Love

I come to you

in simple waves

of joy.

I come to you

in simple breaths

of hope

and there I offer you

my soul

and all the dreams

your lovely heart

desires .

Thank you Sereena.
These are all good poems, John. My favourite would have to be 'Devotion', it's tight, focused and clear.

Thank you WM
A nice collection of snippets, John, and I think if we stretch a little we can make love=good and anti-love=evil therefore unifying the entire piece.

This almost reads like lovers vows to me. I can hear your voice saying it to the one you love, and seeing their happy reaction in their eyes. I do like each of them as individuals but I think they fit together perfectly, as a multifaceted diamond. :D
