Yes,it has become one of our primary necessities.
Such fast pace life and importance of technology and connectivity plus dependence is seen sparkling with all its vigour in this poem:)

Very nice and timely. You just getting a smartphone may have triggered this work? And the choice of music was good too. I am just making this up, but which is more prevalent in our language now "Apple" or "Google". Or Twitter, Selfie etc.. Our world has changed as we try to stay relevante.
