Very nice and timely. You just getting a smartphone may have triggered this work? And the choice of music was good too. I am just making this up, but which is more prevalent in our language now "Apple" or "Google". Or Twitter, Selfie etc.. Our world has changed as we try to stay relevante.

Noooooo. I got my first smart phone last week and it is so enabling and addictive Jacob. It crashed on me this morning and within five minutes it was sorted with the help of the internet.

there are perks i am sure....but all this technology is deafening for me...too much...and less face to face contact like there used to be....i am not fond, i confess...

call me old fashioned, behind the times, that's okay.

I am happy to be an in-betweener Jacob. But I so admire the fact I can lay on my deck in the sun and look at WC, phone my kids, watch TV, listen to radio, search the internet, listen to my music collection, get educated (difficult I know!), read books, talk to my siblings across the globe face to face on Facetime or Skype. And loads more. Wow!

Yes one has to be cautious. A half hour ago I discovered that my ne mobile phone had crashed and it literally took five minutes to search the internet, find the answer and fix it! Amazing! Thanks Lydi. Did you see David Demers comment below?
