Seasons of Love RecalledA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenIs love so easy to forget?Seasons of Love Recalled When the softest summer rain touches your skin and the warm breeze kisses your lips will you not remember me? Will you recall our hearts entwined when the balm of evening soothes your day and you float on the calm of night's dreams ? When autumn tints catch your eye with burning browns and red and yellow glows will you not remember us? When scattered leaves swirl crisp around your feet, crunching as you pass, will you not give us a thought? When winter winds rage, rattling in tempest temper at the window frames, will you not recall the passion we shared, in the eye of our storm? And will you not recall the warmth I gave you when December's frozen hands have you in their grip? And when new life bursts forth and spring bulbs explode in multicoloured joy, will you not seek me out? When lambing bleats drift sad across the fields in April's sun, will you not still miss me?
