Repatriation

Repatriation

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Today 44 victims of the Germanwings slayings, including 16 school children, were returned to Germany.

"

Repatriation

Bodies strewn afar

across an alpine valley

now returned to home.

I agree Beccy. Many thanks.
Great poem...I saw on the news pictures of a line of white herses driving past the school where many of the victims came from. A fine poem about a tragedy too awful to consider, one that needs poetry like this.
