I'll Be Back

I'll Be Back

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Faith!

"

I'll Be Back

Shouts;

echoes that turn to nocturnal screams,

memories in shining mirrors,

that reappear in dreams.

Tears:

sobs of pitiful remorse,

each day past is counted

in a sad, sad self discourse.

Pleas:

to God in all his mercy

to absolve me from sin,

my fall a simple heresy

so I will rise again!.

well I nearly got it right The Scot prevailed!
when we are knocked down so hard it can mean we need to check out for a while...but then we find our way again... our faith,, our way back!
Really love this write and the song... there is hope laced through it,,, a fighting spirit that no matter what life throws at us we can always find a way to return!

You are always welcome my friend! :)
We can all rise from the ashes of our troubles with the right understanding of life and our place in it. Very nice work John. Faith in the end may be all we really have. Faith is hope and without hope there is only the end and no rising up again. Thanks for sharing.

A strong triangle penned ferociously. There is nothing more powerful than a promise of return.
A most apt picture and video to bring these themes all together.
well done dear friend!

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
