Road Kill!

Road Kill!

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

The truth.

"

Road Kill!

This is the finale

for I see the dead end.

Therein resides

acquiescence

to the inevitable truth.

No matter the ardour,

or the urgency of desire

for death is death

and life is so

extinguished

by its claims.

LMSO!..............Those gals they hit you then just leave you lying there and drive away!
Love the name. A very beautiful imagery laden piece or something flat on the road. "Dead Critter in the Middle of The Road", which is the final curtain call. Thanks for the smile John. Life is short and as you reflect, it is inevitable.
