Let's Try

Let's Try

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

When love is about to go into freefall.

"

Show me the way back

from the edge of this abyss,

give me one more kiss.

Aye, you've got to work at keeping relationships from going stale, which is easier said than done as we all at times get lost up our own arses. Been married since 1993, met in '91, and love my wife more now than I ever have. She took me, a mixed up mish mash of pieces, and put me together in such a way that I became a much better person. She also gifted me a most beautiful daughter :))

It's always easy to get back together after kissing muddles the mind . . . but then those old sandpaper edges resurface when two estranged people try to function as a pair. I love the hopeful (if somewhat delusional) spirit of your brief sentiments (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Ah my point was that the kiss is an empty gesture at this stage and few survive. Many thanks Margie.
I think the act of kissing is the most provocative thing between two people. What is love without it?

i think the kiss may actually push the speaker over the edge into the abyss...
swaying precariously....
