Dara,
This, I feel in my bones, deep into my core … the sadness that follows leaves regret the sweet somnolent bliss cannot become a lifetime of reality. The dream feels so delectably tangible, the ensuing desire is to fend-off awakening the instant it begins; but, alas, something stirs during the night or the sun rises and morning calls.
I must admit I'm growing to increasingly admire your uneven, yet, seamlessly-flowing, lines of poetic brilliance, Lady Poet. Your attention to detail, presentation, and spot-on rhyme make your pieces virtual masterpieces of poetic appeal. The full size of that gorgeous picture would be glorious displayed above the sweet title, adding the perfect ambience to these heart-grabbing, imagination caressing verses.
Too, your distinct brand of creatively original visuals and metaphor grab ahold of one's senses, emotions, and soul in such a way it sweeps the reader into your world.
KUDOS, Dara … love it! ⁓ Richard 🍃

It is filled with insight and wonderful suggestions, such as making the image more apart of the actual poem. I really don't think much about how I put it all down, it just flows from my heart to my head to my fingers. Many many thanks for your words of praise and sharing your thoughts and feelings that you had while reading. I am honored beyond words.

My father died this past April and my mother feels his presence strongly. She is not always sure if it was in a dream but they were together so long I imagine his spirit will linger until she too passes away.
