Achoo! .....Haiku

Achoo! .....Haiku

A Poem by Richard

I’m naked

Because the collar of the shirt

Is a noose.

Tears

Take the form of a well

Without water.

Ripening of fruit.

Stepping on grapes

To make wine.

Heartbeat.

Is the rattle of an alarm clock.

In your chest.

War.

So much like building ships.

Is no fun.

Two women fix their gorgeous hair.

One man.

Makes them lose it.

(Property of Sam): “Very high trees.
                           Give us shade.
To cover up our mistakes.”

A strong man.

Flirts with death.

By feather.

Like a bottle of exquisite stuff.

Labeled “love”.

The snake will get it’s mouse.

Crying.
The train has entered the station.
Of love.

I like them all, but I enjoyed the 3rd one, "Ripening of fruit, stepping on grapes, to make wine. " I liked the imagery.
