A Whimsicle

A Whimsicle

A Poem by Richard
"

it's a whimsical treat!

"

A whimsicle is not sweet,
it has the smell and properties
of Grandmother’s beets.
It may hurt your teeth.
It’s certainly neat.
Many things belong on sticks such as olives and meat.
But a creamsicle for example, it is not, because that melts in the heat.
You can have that if you like, once you’ve wiped your feet.
I’ve never met a dog who didn’t pant and plead.
Or a child who didn’t jump off his seat.
But what a whimsicle is .. I can’t figure out. .
I’m beat.
Because it’s an icicle popsicle whimsicle treat.

The way you write is just a treasure itself, and a whim itself, your mind meets so many corners, and put them brilliantly together, into this, I enjoyed it very much, to mind jump here.
