Winghowl the SpiritSpeaker

Winghowl the SpiritSpeaker

A Poem by Richard

Winghowl the SpiritSpeaker

A with good old day

Outdoors - nature's playpen, icebox, oven, time-out

pigs snort hello and sometimes good slop

but do they look up and out and around, they do not

taking giant steps out there in leaps and bounds

Perseus' daughter's wedding dress and

twice removed shoes

and a crack in time sidewalk

Winghowl the brave, the wind called

facing due west, true so excited

crimson underbelly

talons the color of grey

wings outstretched and ready to embrace

every single living soul just before breakfast

O, the howling waste

and just one touch, you know

because the rush is that real

and it takes courage to feel

so forget yourself every so often and don't be afraid

there's a spiritspeaker, a soulforgiver a friendfinder

in everything you'll do

A with all the rest and the little things

be living

A poem that reads like a puzzle anticipating the reader to put it back together, and then sit back and look at it as a whole. :D
