Shallow & The Gravekeeper

Shallow & The Gravekeeper

A Poem by Richard

Antithesis of afraid, fine, who asks?

someone is very afraid and not wanting to disturb

from the spark of the dark, down to the tombstones

a headcold sneeze and a spider on one shoulder

nearly dead, I did say nearly

and shallow, looking into a tree

and out the otherside

obituary, love letter

it's gotten very shivering the night all the bugs to blood

and something is circumscribed and dragging along around it's a cenotaph shuffle

it really hurts to try and watch

the graveskeeper

as he digs his shovel directly

into earth

moss! soil! repentance, sorrow and love!

flowers once a year for ghost Judge Mask

who sentenced 1,000 years of doom or longer

to clean up this nightlife park night after night

and for heaven's sake

to quit the chain-dragging

it's very dramatic

it's morning.. some of us are

trying to unrest
